The histopathology is one of the simplest & most straightforward majors in the MLS.
The courses in the second, third & even fourth year consist of very simple chapters.
The course in the second year can be put in two words: Tissue Processing.
The steps taken with a tissue sample arriving the lab until its stained to be examined for the abnormality.
for example,
Fixation:-Brief description to aims of fixation. then:
We know that the fixatives are 2 major groups:
1.Micro-anatomical fixatives: ( preserve the layers of tissue better)
2.Cytological fixatives: ( preserve the cells better)
and then we study example of the major fixatives, their advantages, disadvantages.
-Formalin ( Formaldehyde).
-Gluteraldehyde.
-Picric acid.
-(Glacial) acetic acid.
etc.

Clearing:Types of clearing agents, which is the most commonly used & why ( this was a question in an exam)
>>>
Embedding:-Again, types of embedding media,
the most common is the Paraffin wax. Characteristics of the Paraffin wax.
What are the other embedding media? with what sample are they used?
>>>
Microtomy:- Types of microtomes.
That's everything for semester one.
Semester two focuses on staining.
I'll put some questions common in exams because they're often repeated every year.
Good luck & if you have any questions, please write them in the comments.
