Aims of fixation:
اهداف الfixation:
1. To stop autolysis and putrefaction.
1. بوقف التحلل الذاتي والتعفن البكتيري.
2. To coagulate the tissue; to prevent the loss of easily diffusible substances. (e.g. glycogen).
2. بجلط النسيج, و بمنع فقدان المواد البتتسرب من الخلية. (زي الglycogen).
3. To fortify the tissue against the harmful effects of the tissue processing.
3. بقوي النسيج وبقلل الاثار الاضارة البعملها الtissue processing.
4. To leave the tissue in a condition which facilitates differential staining.
4. بخلي النسيج في حالة بتسهل صبغه.

اهم fixatives  هي:
1- Formaldehyde. (formalin).
2- Gluteraldehyde.
3- Mercuric Chloride.
4- Potassium dichromate.
5- Chromic acid.
6- Picric acid.
7- Osmium tetroxide (Osmic acid).
8-  Glacial acidic acid.
9- Ethanol.

الhistopathology   في سنة تانية ساهل جدا.
وهو عبارة عن tissue processing.
اللي هي عملية تحضير النسيج من استلامو لحد صبغه وبعد داك التحقيق في امراضه (بالتفصيل). عادةً, الطبيب ما بطلب العينة تكون نسيج الا يكون شاكي في سرطان. لانو اخذ العينة صعب. لاكين في حالات تانية ممكن يطلب فيها نسيج.
تعالوا نشوف الtissue processing  ده عامل كيف.
تعريف الtissue processing:
- Is the treatment of tissue that precedes tissue-sectioning, involving the impregnation of the specimen with an embedding medium to provide support & a suitable consistency for microtomy.
-هو معالجة النسيج البتسبق عملية تقطيعه (لي شرائح ). وبتضمن تشريبه بي مادة طامرة (embedding) عشان يصل درجة يكون عندو قوام مناسب للتقطيع لشرائح دقيقة بجهاز المايكروتوم microtomy.
نحنا كل العايزين نصل ليه انو نصبغ النسيج. (عشان يبقي جاهز للتشخيص.) زمان الحاجة دي ما كان ممكنة. لي كم سبب. الtissue processing "معالجة النسيج" هو ببساطة انو نعالج كل مشكلة كانت مبقية صبغ النسيج للتشخيص مستحيلة. وهي فكرة ذكية جدا.
طيب, المشاكل هي شنو؟ الاجابة علي السؤال ده هي خطوات ال tissue processing.
اولا: النسيج, وهو طبعا عبارة عن خلايا مع بعض, بموت بموت الخلايا دي.

The courses in the second, third & even fourth year consist of very simple chapters.
The course in  the second year can be put in two words: Tissue Processing.
The steps taken with a tissue sample arriving the lab until its stained to be examined for the abnormality.
